Christmas celebrations at school
December is a festive month at New School Lyon. The whole school is getting together to organise two great days: Tuesday 13 December and Thursday 15 December. These two theme days will be full of fun and good humour.
On Tuesday 13 December, a small Christmas market is held at New School. During the market, the children made items that were displayed on the special Christmas evening and sold by the parents. Profits from the Christmas market were donated to charity: Doctor ClownThis association provides professional clowns, jugglers and magicians to work with children in hospital.
On the menu for this first day of festivities:
- homemade Christmas cakes
- Christmas tea
- mulled wine
- and other Christmas treats
A great programme for 15 December:
On Thursday 15 December, Father Christmas will be visiting all the children at New School Lyon. A great programme for the day:
- meet Father Christmas
- Father Christmas himself presents the presents to the children
In fact, this great programme also includes Christmas snacks for all the pupils: ballotins of papillotes and clementines!
