CIS and UNESCO: a process of structuring and openness
In 2026, New School is entering a new step of its institutional structuring, with the launch of its CIS membership application and UNESCO ASPnet process.

In 2026, New School is entering a new step of its institutional structuring with the launch of processes related to CIS and UNESCO.
This is not a communication announcement. It fits within a broader work of clarifying the educational project, formalising practices, structuring governance, strengthening student safeguarding and opening to the international scene.
The aim is to help the school progress in how it documents, steers and evaluates its practices: bilingual teaching, school climate, family communication, safety, citizenship, cultural openness and continuous improvement.
New School Lyon is not yet a member nor accredited by CIS. The membership application is a first step.

Launch of the processes
2026 - Launch of the CIS and UNESCO processes
Structuring of the school year, partnership with Dragon Kids School for Wednesday workshops, launch of the CIS membership process and the UNESCO ASPnet process.
The phrase "UNESCO ASPnet process" is used with appropriate caution: New School Lyon is not currently UNESCO accredited.
