Outdoor learning
Educational trips and outdoor classes
Learning by experiencing, observing and discovering: the world outside is a real teaching ground.

New School offers at least 3 educational trips per year per class: Lumière museum, Musée des Confluences, shows, parks, exhibitions. Each trip is tied to the curriculum and prepared in advance with the pupils.
We also organise outdoor classes at the Essarts forest, where pupils learn in direct contact with nature: observation, manipulation, attention to the seasons, respect for the living world.
The school garden, located within the school grounds, complements this approach: children watch what grows, get their hands in the soil, and connect food to its origins.
