Families as partners
Families, class representatives and school life
The link between the school and families is built on trust, dialogue and respect for each role.

New School places great importance on the link between the school and families.
This link is not a mere service relationship. It is built on trust, dialogue, shared responsibility and respect for each role.
Class representatives can play a useful role as a bridge between families and the school. They help raise collective questions, facilitate the flow of information and contribute to a constructive dialogue.
The Parents Association, currently being structured with the support of the school, is meant to support certain school life initiatives: events, collective actions, festive gatherings, solidarity initiatives or projects that strengthen the New School community.
The aim is not to blur responsibilities: the head of school retains responsibility for the educational project, the organisation and school decisions. But a school progresses better when families understand its project, support it and contribute positively to collective life.
