Christmas celebrations at school
In December, the festivities take centre stage at New School Lyon. The whole school comes together to organise two wonderful days: Tuesday 13 December and Thursday 15 December. Togetherness and good cheer reign over these two themed days.
On Tuesday 13 December, a little Christmas market takes place at New School. During this market, the children create objects displayed on this special Christmas evening and put on sale by the parents' association. The proceeds from the Christmas market were donated to a charitable association: Docteur Clown, an association that brings professional clowns, jugglers, and magicians to hospitalised children.
On the menu for this first festive day:
homemade Christmas cakes,
Christmas tea,
mulled wine,
and other Christmas treats.
A beautiful programme for 15 December:
On Thursday 15 December, Father Christmas visits all the children at New School Lyon. A beautiful programme for this day:
a meeting with Father Christmas,
Father Christmas himself presenting the gifts to the children.
This beautiful programme also includes Christmas snacks for all pupils: bags of papillotes and clementines!
