NEW SCHOOL pays particular attention to the protection of personal data of visitors to its website and of the families it accompanies. This page sets out how we collect, use and protect your data, in line with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 ("Informatique et Libertés").

Data collected
We collect personal data via the forms on this website (brochure request, visit booking, contact, application, newsletter). The data collected always corresponds to the purpose of the form and includes, depending on the form: parent first name and surname, email address, phone number, child first name and surname, date of birth, intended grade, year of entry, current school, languages spoken at home, level of French and English, motivation and a few additional questions.
Purpose of the processing
- Reply to your requests for information and documents (brochure, visit, contact).
- Process your child's application: file review, dialogue with the family, admission decision.
- Send you the newsletter and follow-up communications related to admissions and school life.
- Measure website audience and traffic origin in order to improve the site.
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Legal basis
The processing is based on your explicit consent (form submission, newsletter subscription, cookies) and, in the context of applications, on the pre-contractual measures taken at your request and on our legitimate interest in selecting families whose project is consistent with that of the school.
Recipients
Your data is intended for NEW SCHOOL alone (admissions team, school direction and, where applicable, the technical and administrative teams). It is not sold, rented or transferred to commercial third parties.
Certain technical processors may have access to part of the data to perform their services for us: hosting (Vercel Inc.), database (Neon), transactional emailing (Brevo), audience measurement (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel) and consent management (Axeptio). They are bound by data protection agreements consistent with the GDPR.
Storage period
- Application files: 24 months in case of refusal or withdrawal, then deletion. For admitted children, throughout the schooling and afterwards according to legal obligations.
- Brochure requests, visit bookings, contact messages: 24 months from the last contact.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, plus 3 years for proof and statistics purposes.
- Web analytics cookies: 13 months maximum.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port and object. You can exercise these rights at any time by writing to accueil@new-school.eu.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés), 3 place de Fontenoy - TSA 80715 - 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
