The creative market at New School Lyon

New School creative market

Visual art showroom

The creative market project at New School stems from a desire to introduce children to different cultures. Its aim is to encourage enrichment and open-mindedness.

This creative market has become a not-to-be-missed event for parents, teachers and children. A veritable gallery of plastic arts, the children exhibit their creations. They can be creative, decorative, utilitarian, pictorial or sculptural...

This visual art showroom gives little artists a sense of pride and raises their awareness of creation, artistic beauty and the care that goes into their work. The New School's aim with this creative market is to encourage children to develop self-esteem, happiness and pleasure.

Bringing art to life in schools

The event has two aims. The first is to bring art to life in schools and in children's minds beyond the French-English curriculum. The second is to encourage teachers to move away from basic manual work and to feel valued by their artistic supervision.

This convivial project is at the heart of teaching at New School and brings together children, parents and teachers, who can also enjoy a tasting after the visit.

This year's creative market took place on 17 May at New School. It takes place every year as spring approaches.
